Please join us for the 14th National Monitoring Conference from March 10 to 14, 2025, in Green Bay, Wisconsin AND in a limited hybrid format. This conference provides opportunities for water stakeholders – federal, state, tribal and local water professionals, nonprofits, academia, water consultants and industry, and volunteer and community scientists – to network, develop new skills and partnerships, and exchange information.
The National Water Quality Monitoring Council (NWQMC) is requesting Session proposals that align with the 2025 conference themes. We are requesting proposals for four types of Sessions for the 2025 National Monitoring Conference: Concurrent Sessions, Panel Discussions, Facilitated Round Tables and Workshops/Short Courses.
All sessions will take place in 90-minute intervals. Concurrent Sessions are defined as a block of four presentations, with all presentations related to a similar topic. Panel Discussions typically will have 3-6 short presentations followed by a panel discussion and Q&A. Facilitated Round Tables will start with a short presentation then give attendees the opportunity to discuss the topic further. Workshops/Short Courses will provide a 90-minute interactive training opportunity for attendees.
Proposals due dates for Concurrent Sessions, Panel Discussions and Facilitated Roundtables have been extended to June 21, 2024. By mid to late July 2024, Session Chairs will be notified if those proposal has been accepted. The proposal due date for Workshops/Short Courses has been extended to July 3, 2024 and those acceptance notifications will go out in late July 2024.
The NWQMC will issue a Call for Abstracts for selected Concurrent Sessions (for 15-minute oral presentations and posters) in late July
